On July 15th we headed over to Shoreline Community College for the 35th Annual Vintage VW Meet. Last year Eric entered his bug, this year we also entered our 1972 VW Bus.
I spent a few hours the week before crocheting up a little bunting for the bus. It made for some interesting conversations. And Lacy, if you're reading this, I found a few snowflake doily patterns, so if you'd like me to send you one, drop me a note!

So many interesting things to see at the Swap meet. We even spotted Herbie!
I love the color changing paint on this bug.
It was fascinating to see all the different ways people did up the inside of their buses and campers.
I'll never look at this bunting again, without thinking of them looking like bikini tops! (yup, that's what one person commented, after seeing them!)
And of course the friendly competition to see who had the best VW tattoos!
We were thrilled to get 3rd place in our category! It was a fantastic show, and I look forward to going again next year!
