Dr. Marten 1460 Boots photo shoot with Charlynn

When Charlynn asked me to do a photo shoot with her on Monday, so she could enter the Dr. Martens 1460 boots contest, http://blog.drmartens.com/my-1460s-style-competition/ I had now idea how tricky it would be to take a stylized photo in which the footwear had to be completely visible in a prominent way.  For her first outfit Charlynn choose to wear her grad dress, which is from Free People.  The necklace is a handmade piece from SeaOx  Designs on Etsy (beautiful gift from her boyfriend, Dwayne)  https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/SeaOxDesigns
We also would like to thank Jeanie at the Button Box for offering us the use of one of their dressing rooms for outfit changes.  It was much appreciated. http://thebuttonbox.ca/

Because sometimes you just have to be a little silly!

This outfit was a little harder to work with in this location, so we only took a few photo's.

I really love this next set of pictures, as it's how Charlynn dress's much of the time, making it more relaxed and natural.  Since Charlynn started playing Ukukele a few weeks ago, she decided she wanted it in her pictures.

These few pictures below where taken at the Book Man on Wellington Ave. https://www.bookman.ca/

Agassiz Tulip Festival

Saturday afternoon the I took Angela and Megan to the tulip festival in Seabird Island.  It was a lovely trip, but wow, what a zoo!  As it was nice weather and a long weekend there were hundreds (I'd say thousands) of people who went through that day. With 3 tour buses driving steady, bringing people to and from the parking lot to the tulip fields (2 km), it was still a 45 minute wait in line. The interesting thing was how multicultural the whole event felt.  I was surrounded by people speaking Russian, Filipino, East Indian, Asian...etc.  It made for a very interesting afternoon.

Before coming here, we went to buy new stings for Angela's Ukulele, so she took it to the field to play.

I love the view, with Mt. Cheam in the background.
